Environment Projects Australia (EPA) is a national foundation with twelve key environmental organisations spread around Australia. EPA focuses on three principal activities:
1. Protecting the Environment by raising funds via its web site www.epa.org.au (see description below). Funds raised via this web site go either to EPA member organisations, to a range of projects selected by EPA or to projects listed by other environment groups. The public can choose to donate to any of these categories via the EPA web site with a guarantee that a minimum of 90% of funds will be spend directly on the selected project.
2. Providing services to the non-profit community by providing a wide range of internet based services via its web site www.eGive.org.au (see description below) - such as donation services, databases, ecommerce facilities, online membership services. These allow small to medium non-profits to set up and function effectively using entirely web based administrative facilities and services.
EPA's own web site, www.epa.org.au offers two principal services:
(1). The opportunity to donate to either EPA itself; or
(2) To donate a range of key projects covering all the major environmental issues facing the planet today. Funds donated to the group of projects selected by EPA will have their donation split equally between those projects while donations made to a project listed by any other organisation will go directly to that project. Donors making a donation to EPA itself will have their donation shared equally among EPA's member organisations. These organisations address all the major environmental issues, right around Australia making it easy to protect Australia's national environment with one simple donation. Our members are:
