 FoE Brisbane |  Friends of the Earth Brisbane is located in the sunny Queensland state with our office located in West End. Our community based cooperative integrates both proactive and reactive work - to focus on both 'constructive' and 'oppositional' politics.
Our current campaigns focus on Climate related justice issues and alternatives to the nuclear cycle.
FoE Brisbane has initiated Reverse Garbage and the Bicycle Revolution, both self managed work run cooperative that embody FoE’s ethos of being the change you want to see in the world.
At a basic level, if we are saying 'NO' to something, we also need to be saying 'YES' to something else.
The vision for Friends of the Earth Brisbane is for it to be a self-funded, politically independent social change organisation that engages effectively in social change action, at both a reactive and proactive level, towards a socially just and environmentally sustainable future.
